i really dig all the artists individually, but as a genuine fan who’s just being honest with themselves, occasionally some of the listens blend together a bit. i’m not ignorant to the point of the genre, i get the vibe, but this compilation gives the artists more of a platform to stand out and be appreciated for the contrasts and subtleties they offer to a genre with a deep and established appreciation for minutia. well done, Stratford.
